As the city of Phoenix expanded around Grand Canyon University, the University grew along with the city to become one of the premier metropolitan private universities in the nation. Grand Canyon University consistently maintains its tradition of excellence in all disciplines, and preserves that exceptional tradition in its online programs, which began in 2000.

Financial Aid
Financial Aid programs are available to students interested in attending online college courses at Grand Canyon University. These funds are intended to help pay for some of the costs associated with educational expenses (i.e. tuition & fees, room & board, books & supplies, transportation, etc.) Financial aid programs include Federal Stafford Student Loan, the Federal PLUS Loan, and the Federal Pell Grant. The Association of Business Schools and Programs, 7007 College Boulevard, Suite 420, Overland Park, KS 66211, (913) 339-9336, accredits Grand Canyon University for the Master of Business Administration degrees. Grand Canyon University is also a member of the Association of Southern Baptist Colleges and the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.

By authorization from the Immigration and Naturalization Service of the Department of Justice, non-immigrant alien students may apply for admission to the university.
