All Jones International University courses are delivered entirely
via the Internet, allowing students to earn the degree they need
to advance their careers without putting the rest of their lives
on hold. Everything needed to earn a degree or just take a course
is online and accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Students
log on and learn wherever and whenever it is convenient for them.

Glenn R. Jones, chancellor of Jones International University, has
devoted much of his life to his passionately held belief that education
should be available to everyone, everywhere. The Jones companies
have been working to further that goal since 1987, with the launch
of Mind Extension University™ (ME/U™ ), a cable television
network that enabled 30,000 students to take courses from over 30
colleges and universities via television.
In 1993, Mr. Jones founded JIU, the first university to exist entirely
online. And, in 1999, JIU became the first fully online university
to be accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, a member of
the North Central Association.

What's it like to be a JIU student?

Through a blend of assigned readings, class discussion, faculty
feedback, group projects, case studies, research, and writing assignments,

And, with classes limited to 25 students, teachers get to know their

Financial Aid
Jones International University makes every effort to make education
an achievable goal for each student. As a result, we've aligned
with various organizations and agencies in order to offer financial
aid to our students. In addition, our degree-program students now
have access to Federal Student Aid (FSA) in the forms of Direct
Subsidized Stafford Loans, Direct Unsubsidized Stafford Loans, and
